Does anyone have any experience with the raptor g2 electric heli, and where they bought it?

I have one and I like it. It is a rebadged Walkera 36.

It is very smooth and easy to fly. I did have some radio issues and have finally put a Spektrum in it (still have stock servos on collective and tail rotor). So far, it does not feel agressive at all (head is pure Shogun/Zoom). The stock heading-hold gyro tends to drift a little bit, but works pretty well.

It will fly on the stock Nimh and brushed motor, but does much better on brushless.

I purchased it for a cruiser. I may up the RPM a bit and try a roll. Several people at the field have wondered what it is, as it flies very, very smoothly and the bright yellow stands way out.

Also, try here:

Mine came from Raidentech:

OOPS,

I tried to give the stock electronics a more than fair chance. I ended up installing a Spektrum. The tail and collective servos are still stock. The motor and speed control have been upgraded (now running Shogun motor and ESC).

I did fly it bone stock, including the motor and radio for a bit, but it was just not solid enough (it tended to lock out, more than glitch). The stock motor did have enough power to fly it around.

The machine itself is very good. If they get the radio sorted out, the package will be great.

I am glad that I bought it and will continue to fly it. It is the helicopter equivalent of a GWS Slo-Stick. Very, very easy to fly.

Mine came from Raidentech. $185.00 complete. The have been very, very decent to deal with.

Hi, sorry to resurrect an old(er) thread, but I'm just getting into helis. I'm kitting out a Century 50 size Airwolf fuse and want to put an electric mech setup in it. I was wondering, for the boeginner, would you guys recommend a flight simmulator, or something like the Raptor G2? I saw it on line and i seemslike a good deal.
