Flight box art?

I just put this on my flight box, got one on my van too......

Ya, I know...my box needs a little "tune-up" hehehe....I will touch up the paint for next spring and fix up the "hole" where I pulled a second pannel from to make room for that BIG battery......

Ooops!!...forgot to upload the pic first!!....Here it is...

No, I did have a Green converted tool box.......this one, actually I still have it but I'm using the White one now......the Green one can hold FAR too much stuff!!! It was getting TOO heavy to carry.....

Is this the one you were thinking of???

SIG BOSS Field Box

My vote is the Sig BOSS Field box....it is a great starter and allows room for modification (or personalization).

My field box

This is a box I made in '81 when I was (trying) to fly pattern! Now it's a heli-only box...anodised aluminum construction, 2 1/2 lbs. empty weight, 14 lbs. full up with starter, 7 amp gel-cell, gallon of fuel and two drawers for the tools spare parts etc. A Hobbico field charger is on the lid and a Nova charger is behind the First Aid kit ( white box ). The fuel pump is in a seperate compartment from the battery for safety. When the box has a full gallon of fuel it hangs perfectly level from the handle...which by the way doubles as a transmitter hold-down during transport! 21 years and still going strong... Chris
