Synergy R/C Synergy N9 > Give them a break

I am reading all the posts on the Synergy forum. I am getting one soon. There are some great tips emerging...but also some negativity. The worst seems to be from people complaining about time frames and parts. I understand people are waiting but think it's worth giving these guys a break.

I would imagine that designing, producing, testing, setting up production lines and launching a brand new heli is not as easy as catching a bus. (not to mention cost!) But some here seem to think that. If Hirobo or Xcell or JR were to launch a new heli they have the infrastructure and supply lines to deal with it much quicker. Yet some compare Synergy to pre-existing companies with long lines of heli's.

You want the heli. Look at previous posts on the synergy forum. "I want the heli" ...."whens it coming out"...."how long will it be". Now they give you the heli and not a moment later..."wheres the parts"...."when will they have them"....."they should have had them at the launch". Jeez theres some hard people out there.

Many have recounted experiences of major manufacturers and issues with either quality, supply or service. Yet Synergy must have all this at day one or it's a failure? I say give them a break.

Without people willing to put themselves on the line and provide to us the big boys toys we would have less choice. TT bought out the Raptor V1 and to tell you the truth it wasn't a lot better than my concept 30 DX I had 16 years ago. (read crap) Yet they worked through that and now....well you know.

I wouldn't want to short change some of you 5 cents at the checkout or you'd never hear the end of it. LOL

Don't they deserve a bit of time? Don't they deserve a break?

Or unless they do what Augusto is doing with the Avant Aurora. In order for a vendor to actually take part in the vendor program(s) they have to agree to have a certain amount of parts avaliable.

Don't get me wrong, I not comparing oranges with apples in this example, I'm just stating the fact that Standards for vendors needs to be set prior to being award the right to buy / sell any product.

I must admit that I have been there with the no parts situation and I hate it.

Just my 2 cents.

I Knew someone would bring up the Aurora. Again...an established company with distribution lines in place and manufacturing ability already proven. It will be much easier for them to launch a heli. No doubt.
Nasscar....I see you are waiting for the Auroa on your profile???

Nice!!!!!!!

But, one would expect "a" sponsored pilot to have his supply in place.

Nas,

Oh, yeah, before I forget:

daddiesyacht: That's correct. I'm patiently awaiting my Avant Aurora Ultimate Kit personally shipped from Augusto himself. ()

If it had not been for the Aurora I would have invested in a Synergy N9 just to see what all the hype is about.

We had a Fun Fly 2wks ago at my local field "Delaware R/C Club" and the MA boy's where there doing what they do best. I spoke with a few of them who are waiting to trade in their Stratus kits for the Synergy N9 kits.

Looking forward to seen one fly. I think that Smex who is a member at my field is thinking about investing in one.

I hope so. Then we can learn more about both new Heli's.

hope the Aurora is a nice heli for you. Looks very nice and yes it will be great to have comparisons as long as everyone can refrain from the old "well I have the ******* so it must be better...." syndrome.

I am very patient and have been waiting for this machine for quite a while.I just think that someone can be more forthcoming in the day to day delay adventure or what have you.I totally am supporting the new Synergy and understand the start -up issues BUT,there is not enough explaining.Communication.

I agree with pigroll. I am not trying to put the guys at Synergy down, its just that those of us who ordered one are anxious. Its like someone put the N9 in our face and said "Psych" and took it away. There was a post here on RR from Synergy that said it was a custom's issue. But they didn't have any customs issues in the UK. 3DPP is in Austria yet seems to have plenty of Synergy stuff. My company ships all over the world and when we have a customs issue, its usually resolved within a day or so via fax/email. Seems strange that only 15 kits would make it to ricks and not all sixty. Surely they would all be shipped together to keep shipping costs to a minimum. It seems like something else is going on. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE THIS AS A SLAM!!! We're just bummed and trying to figure it all out.

We understand your frustration and we have our own share of that too. Actually we are still having customs problems. USPS tracking shows a shipment sent earlier than the one Ricks just received are still hold up in US customs, no telling whne they will be released. If you care to track EE740141558HK, you will see why we are frustrated just like you.

I hope those customs agents are enjoying my synergy. They have been in there for what seems like forever. I wonder what the hold up is? Here is a link to the latest tracking info provided by Synergy R/C 1 for all of the other impatient heli flyers like myself on the waiting list

http://trkcnfrm1.smi.usps.com/PTSIn...rLabelDetail.do

Any new info on this Synergy R/C 1?

*EDIT* I guess you can't use a direct link so you have to copy and paste the tracking # EE74 0141 558H K
