just got my hdx300 belt drive kit from helidirect. but did'nt get any info on how the assembly goes. if anyone out there could snap a shot or two, that would be awesome!

So this is the conversion for the BCP to belt driven? Is it better than stock? Does it replaces the tail motor with a belt driven tail prop?

Sorry for all the questions, I'm thinking about either getting this or getting the Direct Drive tail upgrade...dunno wuts better..So many choices

yes , helidirect is selling parts to convert a BCP over to belt driven tail , they have CNC heads and CNC tails too with all three kits the only stock parts i am running is the flybar and paddles , dana

cost of cp vs mx-450

If you dont mind me asking, how much for the whole set using the stock tx and rx. Would it be less costly to order the cp belt convertion or just get another Heli (MX-450)@$350.00 ,not including the radio.
How much more stable is the CP wih this convertion? And do you think it worth the price, now that you have it completed?
I would be very interested to know, because I am going to get a mx-450 or trex later this year., and this might be another option.

whirlybird 1 as i shell out more and more cash on my hdx300 (if that's what we are calling it now ?) i ask myself if this is worth the price of a t-rex. so far i think i have $500. into this heli.

full hdx main rotor
main frame with hdx300 tail
hitec 55 servos with one hs50 for the tail
futaba 7chp radio
cc phoenix 25
hdx gyro
400db outrunner motor

sure hope its worth it!!!

Soooo I guess I cant just get the belt conversion w/o having to get the cnc head and tail

and then I'd to buy a new servo a gyro an ESC maybe a new transmitter and motor and everything else that I dont have...

OR am I wrong?

You dont have to have the cnc head or tail just get the plastic tail and use your stock head thats waht im doing. Or did.
