I use this same two cell battery, also. Care to elaberate on why it's bad?
I always thought of it as "good" because it for sure cuts down on weight.

I've been using a 2600 Fromeco pack for 18 months + on my N9 & no problems whatsoever. I went the smaller pack for CG reasons.

I have a friend that uses the Fromeco 2400 pack on his Raptor 90 and he easily gets 5 flights. If you are not running 8717's or other power hungry servos a smaller pack works just fine.

Raptor has no ccpm - using ccpm, when all of the swashplate servoes goes together, The power consumption can go over 4 Amp even with weak servoes and the voltage will drop - using spectrum receiver for example will cause radio lockout.

The problem is not the battery capacity, but it's limited current draw, because it's Li-Ion.

I agree Ofir. I used the 4 cell Lions with no issues, and tried the 2 cell pack on a T-rex 600. Just using the glow driver on the 2 in 1 drops the voltage below usable. I get twice the run time on a 1900mah Lipo than the 2600mah Lion.
