That was pretty dumb locking a gate without checking to see if anyone was there or not. What happened to unlocking it a 6:00 am and locking it at dusk.

I'm thinking that the Hopewell Valley Modelers have more clout than Jeff imagined. To think that they made the county restrict us to every other day so that the HVM guys can fly every other day is crazy. When have you ever saw any of those guys at the field other than to oversee what was going on at "Their" field.

If your a heli flyer and plan on flying at this field plan on bending over and dropping to your knees because this is not the end of all the BS that going to go on with this field. Those plank guy are going to screw the heli guy with no lube, unless we start growing some balls too.

Exactly! That is my a went off road to get around the locked gate. These guys want us gone and will do everything they can to make it happen. I will continue to show up and fly until they give in and go away. I'm praying for rain or wind on even days.

Thanks
Anthony

Come on, don't you guys carry a bolt cutter or a cutting torch in your flight box?

Are dues 1/2 price now that you can only fly 1/2 the time?

Half the time is relative. Any day the gate is locked then there's one less out of 180 possible opportunities.

I mean the field is nice but not that nice. There's very limited parking and it really gets wet after a rain. From a club stand point it's even less friendly. There's no way you could ever host a fun fly as there's only room for maybe three flight boxes at one time and you would have to break out a brush hog to make that happen. The county won't allow the cutting of any more grass as there's a bird sanctuary on the same property.

I'll keep flying there as often as I can but I'll never be the first one there again. I'll need someone to tell me that we're not locked out.

Who's responsible for opening and closing the gate? Can't the club get a key or the combo?

I'll be flying here at the house. The FIOS guy is coming to do the install which might take all day. I'm dialing in the Bell on the banch now so tomorrow will be a good day to do the field testing of all the electronic and mechanical settings.

You should take a ride up this way

I have to pick Kevin up from school or I would take the ride. I just looked it up, it's about a hour and 20 minute ride.

Thanks

It's already nice out there!

When are you heading to the field Anthony? I'm going out back as soon as FIOSGUY gets here.

I gotta fly the Bell again. I mad a drastic CG adjustment foreword using about 12oz of lead, it was way tail heavy. I'm excited about flying it with all the adjustments I made.
