| Actually in the WJ world the norm is to use rack and pinion or timing belts for motion control. You have to remember the application as a lot of these machines are used to cut countertops, signs, food, rubber and paper gaskets. You don't need a terribly accurate machine for that kind of work.
The WJ's that I sell are all ballscrew drive but the majority of the cheap ones are not. Flow is one of the least expensive units on the market although they aren't as cheap as Calypso and some others.
This is a programming issue, or the jet isn't adjusted properly or both. I would need to see the program to tell what is actually going on.
