I am in a similar position,
I have one Avant EFX and two Freya's
That's one Freya too many
So planning to convert the plastic Freya to a Avant EFX
and keep the XSpec as is (I just love it)
So the common parts issue works very well for me...
I like the Hirobo belt drive tail,
I'm not fussed with the torque tube drive
and the bling tail on the Aurora
I find it hard to believe that the Aurora will cost $1000 USD
The Avant and the programmable head cost $970 now,
then add the new tank, boom, tail gear box, torque drive,
main gears, one way bearing, skids, tail drive gears, etc
