I got to talk to JK at the XFC this year and he told me that Rick's was taking pre-orders. He said the first shipment would be shipped around July 15, 2006 to the dealers. The release date to be 28th of July same date as the start of the 3D Masters. The XFC was on June 16-thur18th at which there was no word of the Aurora. About a week to 10 days after the XFC the word of a new heli, the Aurora, was coming out. They name off some people that would be on the team at that time. Also was thought to be released on the same day as the 3D Master. Seens odd they would pick that day also, the same day the Synergy would be released. All I've seen are pictures of the Aurora. I have not seen any video's of them flying yet. I don't think anyone has them yet.

To me they where just trying to steal Jason's thunder of the release of his new heli. If you have a video of the new Aurora flying I would love to see it.

IF you guys lisseded to the WHOLE VIDEO, you would have heard that the rest to TEAM AVANT is there flying the Aurora. But if you ask me it means nothing, seeing that the Szabos are the only MasterClass pilots for Align and with the factry team from Mikado there its a Show down for the 600 Vs. the logo 14. Plus you have the new E-Raptor there. Its a statment. for align, CX has other pilots in the masters class. Think i little before you talk.

Not only that ,I have seen Alan fly the Avant and he was perfectly comfortable with it. In fact that was best i have ever seen him fly any helicopter. Besides that,Alan signed with Align first and may have already had deal to fly the 3D masters for them.DOUG

Were did you see that the Aurora would be flown? In the main 3DM thread someone posted that it wasn't ready and that was why the Szabos were flying the 600's.

Douglas I have not seen any at the Masters yet and don't think there will be any. What you might see is and Avant.

Apparently Augusto was on a flight over today,

The Auroa wil been seen at the Master in the Midlands Tent, also very strong chance Augusto will demo it.

Felt dissapointed for the Szabo's today, those TRex 600 couldn't hold up to the flights

Where's that awasome, fantastic alan video with the aurora? Humm...maybe it dosent exsist, has anyone seen one yet? It appears to only be avil in CAD space. I was wondering if any one knows if Alen, and Danny are still sponsered by O.S., and Power Master Fuels. probly not since they only fly electrics now.

Not every picture in the release post was done in CAD, there were some actual pictures. I think if Carbon Xtreme has proven they have the knowledge and capability to produce a awesome helicopter. Either way, it ain't gonna be like a 2 year wait since the initial public announcement to come out.

If you look here it says the szabos are flying the Avant along with Steve mcfall. I can't wait for more rrtv videos to be up, maybe we'll catch a glimse of the Avant. We'll see what they are really flying.

The Aurora did make an appearance at the 3DM today and created quite a stir at the Midland tent.

This helicopter is even more beautiful in the flesh and WILL be flying at IRCHA. The pics of the heli should be circulating by now.

The machine was not ready in time for the team pilots to fly it at the 3DM due to certain circumstances but be patient my friends it will be worth the wait as I assisted Augusto in building the machine last night and all I can say is WOW!!!!
