I need of a set pinions to test with!
I own a outrunner himax 3528 1000kv motor (540size,186gr )

I want to try this motor in my corona, the stock pinion is way to small for this low kv .
Where can i find 32DP for 5mm shaft pinions ?

(empty batt, before cutoff )
7 *1000kv = 7000rpm
hover rotor rmp +- 1500
gear reduction 7000/1500 = ~ 102:21T pinion

does this (wet finger) calculation makes any sense ??
i guess i can test with a 20 and 25

rc-monster.com has 20 tooth, 32p, 5mm. Towerhobbies.com has some Robinson and Traxxas pinions, maybe there are some 5mm bores. There was another company that had 25 tooth, but I can't seem to remember the name (It was in N.Y., but it wasn't Stock Drive Products). Do a Google search for 5mm bore, 32 pitch, 25 tooth pinion/spurr. Fxaeromodels.com has a 23T Pinion for Joker 1, don't know the pitch or bore. Check out the RC car sites as well. You my find a 3/16 bore and drill out to 5mm.

I also found some robot-shops selling 32DP gears with custom bore's.
