Probably will but I've never tried to fit MS 080 CF FP blades to that head. The main issue is the pin hole in the shaft is quite close to the top, so the Hbird/Piccolo style head may rock about a little. I don't think it mattered too much anyway in flight and some strategic CA glue helped take out the slop.

For anyone else wondering why. See the PiccoloFP hybrid transplant here.

Hello everyone,
I too have wondered if my bling bling hummingbird FP head would fit but for sure the Ms Composit FP cf blades would not. Because the HB head can have the pitch adjusted I was using Ms Composit CP cf blades on my hummer but you have to have a good headspeed for it to work. I have a Schweizer 300 and think the FG and the CF blades work great so I'm keeping the stock head.

I found the the stock X-FP (H1 FP) cyclic had too much delay respond to cyclic inputs. If you could fit an Hbird swash and head with MS CF FP blades mounted I'm sure you would find Forward Flight handling to be much more crisp and pleasurable to fly.

To mount you will need to apply mods for special mounting like this method here ...use wide plastic washers to mount the rotor blades and save lots of money by never breaking any more blade mounts during most tip over's (spreads the load point). The plastic washers should not be larger than 8 x 2 mm
Or another method here).

EDIT: How does the stock FP feel to you in Forward FLight?

Thanks. The heli belongs to a friend of mine I been helping out for over a year, I just donated the bits plus setup and shot the video. Normally he fly's better with more variation of moves and circuits. I guess his mind was else where on a problem.
