while i hope this won't be too heated a discussion, i would like some feedback on people's experience with customer support... primarily parts availability in the past. i had heard some questionable things about long wait times for parts on the past avant products, and while i am pretty much 99% sure i will be getting an Avant Aurora as soon as i possibly can (i havent been this excited about a new product in a really long time), i am just hoping that getting parts and stuff for it in the event of an "incident" won't be a struggle. please just respond if you have had experience with them, positive or negative, in the past. hopefully augusto can also indicate the likely parts availability for the aurora as well. thanks

To share my experience... I do always have the content of a crash kit (main & tail blades, paddles, fly bar, main & tail shafts, tail boom, tail supports,...) at home even though Raptor spares are easily available...

It has been the best way until now to go fly with a "relaxed" attitude as I'm 90-100% sure that I would fly the day after whatever happen...

Some are buying a second heli...

Just as you, I hope that Avant spares will be easily available (did already locate 2 European providers)... (did hear very bad things about Miniature Aircraft parts availability and that's something that keeps me away from that brand!)

I ordered my pmax cf kit and was told it would be shipped in 2-3 days, an then started to get the run around, parts failed to set up
etc, well I had to wait longer that I expected. So they get a C- in my book.

As far as spare parts for Avants they are all available at all times from CX. The Aurora program will only have dealers that signup with full spare parts inventory support. We are signing up dealer contracts with some of the large mail order houses as well as distributors that will carry the full line of spare parts as a requirement before they become dealers.
We will post the list in the near future.

My experience with Carbon Extreme, on the initial kit order FX and later on EFC, spare parts and even wrong parts included in the EFX kit was very....very...positive.

I agree w/ Idhoverman. Carbonextreme's customer service is TOPS as far as I'm concerned. Augusto once called me to tell me a binding problem that I had was because I tightend the screws that go into the washout slider to much. I would've never figured it out. He told me that they were working on Ray's heli and he encountered the same problem. Go figure!
