I have question regarding the Bell Uh-1b from Vario, due to the catalogue the length of the fuselage is 1710 mm and to be fitted with a petrol mech or skyfox mechanics, but is it the same body for the skyfox? It seems a little big for an ordinary mech!

Skyfox mechs should work fine if you choose to use them. You'll just have to play with the gear ratio depending on engine size and blade length. If you go with the Skyfox mechs I have a clutch and main gear to lower the gear ratio. Both still new in the package.
