Congrats....

I think you will like it. Major step up from the Nexus.
Take advantage of that 39.00 upgrade if you got it from the states. I have that in my Freya and it will be a welcome addition to this ship.
Now if my crank will just show up so I can fly mine.......

Sceadu

I'm sure you will enjoy your new Sceadu, it's as much fun to put together as it is to fly.

What engine and muffler combination have you decided on?

Richard.

Congrats on your choice, you won't regret it. In the meantime you might want to check out my assembly tips on my site I hope they can make your assembly a better experience. And if you get stuck feel free to ask!

Thanks again......

To answer your questions.......First, I am definately taking advantage of the DTDS and 3rd Bearing block. I bought it in the US for the warranty and the upgrade option.

Next, I went with the OS 50, but I am gonna use the stock Sceadu muffler for now. Since I have officially bought one now, I'm gonna hang around "For Sale" area and see if I can get a deal on a Hatori or Muscle Pipe.

Last, Greg, Your site is one of the many very important factors in buying the Sceadu. I have been hitting your site for a couple months now "Pre-Learning" everything I can. I have alot of things to look for in my construction, so thanks for the heads up. I'm sure I'll be asking you a few things in the next few weeks.

I appreciate all your help and any suggestions you can add are WELCOME!!!!!

Thanks

DUDE!

Great news, you'll be thrilled that you bought the Sceadu 50. I hope I had some positive influence on the matter as well.

Keep in touch!

Absolutely!!!!

I didn't want to alienate anyone, but you, Ken, Greg Takacs and Jeff Green had a ton to do with my purchase. The fact that Jeff is here dealing with our concerns is great for the product. And I have spent alot of time at Greg's web site, as well as yours.

I don't have a hint of buyers remorse because I came to this decision with alot of information and NO presales questions.

Thanks to everyone who answered my "Sceadu 50 Value" post as well as every other thing I ask. There is nobody better to ask than those who have been there!

Thanks

Your going to love it.

I finally had enough tanks of fuel thru my Sceadu 50 to lean it out and get it trimed. On my last flight of the day (I've only hovered mostly since I got back into the hobby) I was getting the feel of it and it was a smooth and stable as my TSK MyStar 60 that I hovered the flight before this.
I was doing slow FF flight and slide turns and I took it up high and did my first nose in hovers. 3 of them, 15 to 30 secs, No problems. I then started on pirouettes (spelling??) both left and right, singles and doubles.
MAN this heli is great. I still have the 570's on and the max throttle set to 80% with +13 on pitch. No overspeeding the blades.
What a great heli.

BTW, I flew my Raptor 30 in FF earlier today and almost auggered it in. I HAVE TO PAINT CANOPY! I lost referance and caught it about 10ft off the ground from a 100 ft drop. Had to land and breath again
Anyway I just had to vent some here and wanted Hockeytown to know he made a really good choice.
Thanks

I originally got the old Nexus Package (Nexus, OS32, Helimax Gyro, Futaba 6VH......YES....VH) but I have been slowly upgrading all of them.

I bought a used JR 8103dt around Thanksgiving with three 8 channel Rx's and one 9 channel Rx, and for Christmas I got the GY401/9253 combo....................the new Heli was the "Missing Link". So now I am adding the Sceadu 50/OS50.

I am SSSSSOOOOOOOOOOOOO looking forward to Spring!!!!!!

Thanks again
