Futaba 9255s have some impressive specs, try not go go lower than 6 kg though, the Futbaba 9252s may not be enough for hard 3d.

it all comes down to your flying really.

don't get 9252's! get 9255's, 9451's or the other servos mentioned. I have 9252's on my Avant fx and they don't hold up. They will be ok for about a flight or two but once you start to beat on it you're going to have to redo your swash over again.

9451's are the bomb! Unbelievably fast and precise. I had to tune my swash with 9252's every 10-20 flights. Haven't had to touch the 9451's. (about 60 flights on them so far)...

Hey man, why does my lipo get bigger every time I charge it?

Go with the 9255s if you can afford them. They are very strong and center very well. I had a set of 9252s at first and stripped the gears under extreme loads causing a crash .

9451's here, they work great. Had 9252's before & all stripped easily in a crash.

Alan uses them unless he's switched to Futaba. Anyone confirm this?

Ok after thinking for a while i think i have decided to go with these. they look like they will be great on 5.1 volt. But another question can you run a gy601/9251 on regulated 6 volts?

Torque your friend is jedi

When selecting servos for high mobility heads you need to remember that torque is your friend much more than speed. Speed without torque ends up being slower in flight. If you're using high mobility settings go for servos that are above 110 oz and metal gears. Probably the best one currently is the S9351 with 153.0 oz-in. 0.16 sec/60° at 4.8V and 192.0 oz-in. 0.13 sec/60° at 6.0V.
