Bergen R/C Helicopters > Driven Tail Upgrade

At the price I would like to know if anyone has added the upgrade and what they think of it. And do you retain the current main gear, or does it get replaced. If so is it weaker than the non tail driven stock gear?
Thanks in advanced Mike

Mike,

I don't know if you ever got a response, but I just finished building an Intrepid EB with the driven tail. All they did was split the gear into two gears. The main is on the autrotation clutch and the tail ring gear is on a hub above it locked to teh shaft. If anything it is stronger. If the tail gear fails you cn replace it and if the main is hurt you can replace that. I worked with Chris Bergen this weekend on setting up my bird and it is sweet.
