Ok, hope this is where I would ask this. Those Hoops, the ones that are aluminum with the plastic ball link ends on them. Can you replace just the balll link end? And, if so, where do you get the ends?

I have a set, and one of the ball ends will un-fasten quite easily and I don't trust it until it is replaced.

If you are talking about the Raptor you are better off just using the plastic ones, it gives a nice point for something cheap to break to disappate the energy if you hit something.

Right, I just had a set here and thought I may want to use them but one of the links was a bit loose. But since posting this, I have finally spoke with a fellow heil pilot and he explained that you just screw the old ones out and the new ones in. I did not know that. It's amazing at the simplest things you can learn, and then think, now I should have known that....

hi just add my bit lock it from the back thuo hoop into ball link with a small selftapper to lock it so it will not come out both ends
