Brilliant Build review, probably better than will get published in any of the heli mags.

I didn’t realise the fan mounts the other way & I spent about 2hrs looking at the N9 at 3D masters!

Thanks Simon for taking the time to write this when you could be out flying.

I can take cheap shots at the canopy all day long but I think this will be a nice heli. I even like the G10 frames. Great work on the review.

Good read, however it has more plastic than anticipated!

It's not a bling machine but I don't think it was meant to be.

Looks good, simple and durable. I am impressed with the machine and the way he said things fit. I don't care what it's made of as long as it works, and I can afford to fix it.

Another Great review!

Love the new torque tube setup. I picked out a few surprises in the build up. Some good tips for anyone who hasn't built one of the older X-Cell's! Definitely worth the read if your thinking of getting one.

Hi Simon,

Most complete info I've seen about this heli so far, great article.
What's the RTF weight?

Thanks,
- Rob

Gidday Rob,
Just weighed mine on my 'cheap' kitchen scales and it came in at just under 4.4kg (minus blades and fuel), but otherwise, ready to fly.

By comparison, my CS came in at approx 4.55kg minus blades and fuel.

Now i wouldn't go betting the farm on my scales, but at least the exercise proved that the machine is slightly lighter than the CS, which is no fatty anyway.
