To avoid problems that could potentially destroy a reputation as a good seller or buyer, do not back out of a trade after you have "sealed the deal" (especially if the excuse is lame). I did enough research in respect to the issue that brought me to write this thread to lead me not to drag anyone through the mud THIS TIME therefore I will leave it at that. Just heed the warning.

I have to say this....sorry. The particular guy in question, has had a history for years, of doing exactly the same thing....making deals and backing out of them. A buddy of mine warned me....but I had to try. He emailed me saying he was very interested and to call him. I did....four times down to West Virginia! No decency to return a call or even an email. If you want to know who it is....PM me! I say stay the heck away from this guy in question.

Rotory RC....I hope you dont mind me getting on the "soap box" and yelling my distaste for this particular individual! He is the kind of guy who wants something for nothing and does not care who he stps on to get it. Many people have had problems with him in the past and will in the future as long as he has a computer and wants or need heli stuff. I dont want to say his online name....but when I read it...Little Nellie autogyro pops in my head. Any thoughts?

There are far too many shady individuals hanging out here cheating people out of their hard earned money. They should be boiled in oil.

A word of extra caution .... BEFORE making a deal with anyone thoroughly check their past deal history here and on the Good Guys list. Check to see what they have sold and what they have bought as well. If it looks too good to be true it usually is.

NP imsofaman. I tried not to let the cat out of the bag either, but hey, I can only protect people for so long. Obviously I'm not the only one out there that has had some hassle with him.

From what I researched before doing my trade with him it's an on/off thing with him. I've talked to him on the phone a couple of times and he doesn't seem to be a bad guy, just to many other thing on his plate that he really, really, really needs to organize.

After I originally posted this thread he contacted me and tried to make it right, I just think there are some personal issues that need to be worked out first.

Oh well.


PS, damn this thing sure caught fire quickly, lol!

You know....I was taught that it takes two seconds to drop a line or to be courtious to others especially in a business deal. If 007 did not want to do business with any of us, he should have the common decency to let us know. He could have emailed us. Ignoring others when he initiated the deal and we had responed faithfully.....really sucks.

I hear ya. I don't understand the reasoning behind initiating a request to trade or sell something then backing out of it once someone tries to help you in what you are looking for time and time again.
