i heard from a source that matt is no longer flying for ma and will be flying a synergy shortly! wow! now i really can't wait for mine!!!

who is matt botos

matt is a pretty awesome pilot--he seems to be an up and coming superstar. i heard that he went from 17th to 4th place at the xfc. incredible flying to accomplish something like that!

He was the team manager for Xcell,he is a very good pilot. It looks like it's going to be a shootout between Synergy ,Avant and JR at the contest's now. I expect to see Alan win some contest now that he flying a capable heli. He's a link to his web site. DOUG

i hope to see an aurora fly in the near future! from the drawings, it appears to be very, very well thought out and designed! it even has a 6mm tail rotor out put shaft and easy to inspect tail gears! and i like the way the canopy wraps around the bottom of the frame area! what a great look! perhaps in the next rev, it will be sporting a 5mm flybar too.

The only pilot that flys for MA that does contest that i am aware of now is ERIC LARSON. He is a execellant flyer and entered is first contest at Tiawan and did reasonaably well. There are some good non sponsered pilots that fly well and we will have to see how they do.
Duncan Osborn jumped to Synergy also. Things should get very ineteresting with these new helis. DOUG

I do not understand the fascination of keeping track of who flies for which company or how well a well known person flies his/her heli. It seems as though there is a core group of Runryder members that are concerned or fascinated about certain other flyers.

mr turner, why is it that you find it "interesting" that i would be excited to see that another top pilot has chosen to fly a machine that i would like to someday own? is it not the purpose of a site like this to express and exchange opinions and ideas? are you somehow insinuating that i'm attempting to "advertise" for a product which i am interested in? if so, that was very clever of you to pick up on such a thing. perhaps you even know of the "real" group of people who were responsible for things such as roswell and the real killer of jfk.

the facts are merely the facts--i'm not sure how you can "read between the lines" so well. i am interested in all helis and have owned quite a few. i'm sure that these new ones will not be my last, and as such i am always keeping my eyes open for information. hope you fly safely and please, keep up your mad forensic talents! i'd like to read a book someday about more of your conspiracy-like theories.

it will be interesting to see how the market competition works out. People are saying synergy and avant are paying people to fly the machines. they are so new that it will take some time to figure out how they work. I really want to see review from average pilots that have owned one for 6 months or so. It will be easier to get a real opinion.

Also Henry Caldwell H.C. flys MA. So you have Eric, Bobby, Mark, Henry, Jim that seem to be some awsome pilots. I am not sure how much influence the switching will have. Marcus Kim switched to TT and made no impact then switched to avant without even flying it. How much influence should that have?

I saw the synergy at Ircha last year, was NOT impressed.
A lot of the parts Looked like a cheap MA knock-off.

Its like bragging to raptor guys that the gobee is better

A copy is never as good as the originial.

I agree with JB.
I know Matt, he's a great pilot and good guy but
Who cares who flys what?? Do you only buy certain tennis shoes because some basketball advertises them?
Just fly the one you feel flies the best, not because "someone" you idol worship flies it.

I think Curtis is the KING of all R/C helis, but I don't fly JR.

I totally agree!

Alot of the trends nowadays is not to buy the heli that suits your budget or flying style or say an ease of maintenance issue etc... or a transmitter which does exactly what you want it to do and does'nt have a fancy screen or play MP3's, it just does exactly what you need it to do.

Same thing with blades and fuels, i've seen people go mad to get the latest set of blades released or get the latest fuel, not because it runs any better or they are unhappy with the performance of the current fuel but because it has the name a top pilot on it....

Look around,.....it's no a matter of flying to enjoy the hobby but a matter of "Hey!,Look what i've got!" Na,...Na,..Nananaaaa!!!!
