Clips

What kind of clips are used on the tail slider? Can you post a pic?
That is great news that it's as straight forward as it was advertised to be. Puts the mind at ease. Keep us posted on the flying progress and what you are using please.

Thanks,
Greg.

Do any of you guys have pictures of the rotorhead? And is the head fully composite plastic or does it have a metal hub?

The blade grips and head button are composite, the rest of the head is all metal.

The canopy comes in all white, no coloured screen currently.
There will be decals with the full production kits but these are not in the pre-release kits.

If the canopy is all white does it come with some sort of indent mark to paint out the screen or is it guesswork?

Interesting, it seems that UK users are getting a sample of the heli before the USA users.

Clips

Just an idea for those clips for those who may not know.... A set of snap ring pliers do wonders. You should be able to find a set cheap at Sears or something. If anyone is interested I can post a pic.

Hi Guys,

The Synergy got its first flight today, i'm over impressed at the way it performed. I knew it would fly nice but i didn't think it would be the nicest heli i've ever flown.

I've no vibration on this helicopter.........

Its so stable in hover, i have it inches of the deck inverted today and could take my hands off the radio, and then in flight its so responsive.
Roll and flip rate are fantastic.
The building time was around 20 hrs.

My Set up

Os 90sz pumped
Gy 611
ccpm Jr 8455
Throttle Jr 8700G
Rev max
Radix 710's
Sab 105's

All i can say is hats off to Jason Krause for designing a superb Helicopter.......

Hands down, this really is an impressive performer. I flew two full tanks on pj's Synergy yesterday and I really enjoyed it (nice one pj). Solid in the hover, you could nearly say it feels more solid in the inverted hover. It rolls soo well, huge backward loops, locked into inverted backwards flight, smooth and predictable in the piro flip, great pitch power especially in tictocs and rainbows, low level flips and pitch pumping flips are predicatable and fun. The machine feels light and agile but never giddy.

This is a really good machine and for the price it's coming in at I think JK and Co are on a winner. Only time will tell as to how durable the machine is and as to support and parts availability. As a starting point though, this had got to be one of the best bang for buck helis available.

Rgds,
David Nee.

P.S. - I'm just a regular club flier...no team, sponsors or affiliations.

Well seems like so far everyone that has had a chance to fly it has given it the thumbs up so i'm looking forward to seeing first hand how it flies.
It's no good having a great flying and good priced heli though with limited spares backup so hopefully this will have been thought out. Another reason why i've been flying Raptors - everyone stocks the stuff! Hopefully Synergy will be the same as I certainly don't want to be waiting weeks for parts after a mishap!

I can add in my thumbs up too ! After P.J.'s initial 20 hour build we spent a few hours at the field and with no issues worth talking about this thing was as locked in as any Fury I have flown or seen flying. I got a tank through it aswell and it inspired confidence immediately, even to me an average crap flyer !!
The points that stood out to me were : Seems a straight-forward build, engine layout is simple and access very easy. Love the 5mm flybar. In flight, no hint of vibration, feels really light in the air. Rolls nicer than some of my aerobatic planes ! Response to pitch was savage, even with modest 10 degrees. Also it looks big with that big canopy and u-carriage.
Overall it surpassed my expectations.

Now lets see the Aurora !!(P.J ??? 'Synergy all the way'
