| Hi, having a look how the stock voyager e tail servo is mounted, it seems to be not very sophisticated, as everyone knows, the pushrod has to be bent, as the servo position of the horn is somewhat outside the frame, whereas the tail pitch expects the pushrod to be in the middle. Probably quite some torque from the tail servo is lost due to this, probably it's not as fast as it could be and in addition it looks not very nice
Now of course you can go and buy a tail-mount for the servo, whereas of course the pushrod needs to be much shorter. That's one possibility.
The other one, would be somehow to 'turn' the tail servo, so that the pushrod aligns to the tail in a straight way. Of course it means also that quite a bit of the servo 'hangs outside the mainframe'.
Does anyone have a solution to that issue ? |
