HIROBO Freya - Sceadu - Shuttle > EVO 50 Tracking Problem

Been very happy with my EVO. Bought a wrecked one and put it back together. For all intents and purposes it started out brand new with me.

I do have a recent problem that occurs occasionally and I hope some of the more experienced guys here may know what to look at.

If I do a fairly agressive maneuver like a flip or a roll, the blades will go out of track.

I've checked all the mixing arms, washout arms, linkages etc and everything is tight. The blades are not loose in the grips.

I am using the stock dampers and they seem a bit on the loose side. I ordered a set of Infinavation dampers from Rick's but they are currently back ordered.

There have been no mishaps with the machine since I've had it and it's been a pleasure to fly up to this point.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

double and carefully check the state of the thrust bearings in
the head. They can lockup if damaged leading to such a situation.

Probably the dampeners. Stock ones will do that if you let the headspeed decay. This most often happens in high-cyclic maneuvers like flips.

Try going easier on the collective during the maneuvers to keep up the headspeed, and install the new dampeners as soon as you can.

Running TT600's blades.

I don't notice a decay in headspeed during any maneuvers.
In fact now that I think of it, the problem didn't show up until I bumped the headspeed up to about 1900rpms.

Started doing that already.

I will rip the head apart and check all the bearings in the blade grips. I'd like to do the new dampers at the same time to avoid having to rip it apart twice though it may not tell me what the problem was at that point. Either way it looks like I'm tearing the head apart.

Thanks for the advice guys.
