Hi all,

The weather has, finally, allowed me to get out and fly!! Whoo Hoo. I buzzed around abit while waiting for the thunderstorm to come in. The calm before the storm and all that, got three batteries in.

The only issue was the darned bugs. Gees, I believe I gave a pint of blood to the mesquito gods. I supposed this is good training, how to fly while jumping, slapping, head nodding etc.

I have not mastered this skill on my sim...yet

Cheers,
Leslie

Hello, Leslie

That would be interesting to have bugs buzzing you while on the sim

I also played in the front yard after it rained the other night. Dang mosquito trying to bore a hole between my knuckles, land and smack and up we go again, almost as bad as them using my face to do straifing runs.

Maybe I'll mount a fly swater to my antenna

I almost crashed this weekend while some monster horse/deer fly was sucking on my arm. I had to set it down to get him off and the welt is still there!

Avon cosmetics "skin so soft" is reputed to be an excellent insect repellant! Don't know if it's available in the US,but my daughter found it on sale in a petrol -station kiosk in the Scottish highlands.
(popular climbing/hiking destination)
(avon is usually sold out of a brochure,so it's highly unusual to see it sold as a "stock" item!)

Last fall, I fired to Evo up in the back yard and got it in a nice stable hover. About then, I think every dragon fly in thr county swooped in to check it out. I could decided if they trying to decide to mate with it of fight it! At least they left me alone!
