The parts and price costs are so cheap now. I remember my little hornet. I loved that little bird but was just too expensive to maintain at the time and at my skill level. I'm considering getting another one at these cheap prices......

I have a question for you MS... Are you still making a profit with such deep discounts? If you are, then that's a shame. The Hornet is a nice flying helicopter but I sold mine because of the high cost of parts. If you were marking the prices up that much to make a profit, you really shot yourself in the foot. If the Hornet prices back then were what they are now, I'd have about 4 or 5 hornets! 60-70% off is tempting, but I want to know what's happening that's allowing to offer such deep discounts.

Mr Carbon, always wanted a Seaknight, PM your best price on a kit with motor and mixer.

Gary, I am mostly flying Century now (out of the pan into fire?) and have developed a micro belt drive system. Century have been good to me.
Well, maybe I should thank MS for their contribution, as I worked out how much I spent on my Hornets and realised that it was cheaper to build my own CNC mill etc and make my own heli.

Truth is, I never ever ran one. I heard from very reliable local flyer that the drive train was unreliable but the head was good.
Most of the problems was around the tail gear box, kept on breaking, as I'm told.

MS established daughter company in USA. This seems they want to start business with a full service. I do have first few hints the situation keep changing. Let wait for final result. But their Hornet was really perfect. I gonna wait for next heli from them to make my own judgement.

I really liked my Hornet too. I wonder if the price drop has anything to do with the fact the Tower Hobbies & Horizon Hobbies now carry MS Composit helis and parts??

I purchased a Hornet X3D($99.99) and Hornet CP-X(89.99) from MSCOMPOSITUSA.COM. Their sales prices are as advertised so you don't have to worry when purchasing from them. They even gave me some extra parts when I purchsed two kits! I love their Hornet series micros eventhough spare part price are ridiculous. However, it looks like all that is going to change. Prices on their kits and spares are going to be lot more competitive. Gotta love free market economy!

I just ordered a bunch of parts that without the discount I would not have been able to afford. I am glad part prices are coming down. Hopefully for good, as now I planning to keep my hornet. I love the way it flys.

I got my Ch-46 kit from MSCompositUSA yesterday. Joe was super helpful (thanks Joe!) and got me set up with the kit, mixxer and 3 blade conversion with blades. I've got it framed up and the body mounted. I can't wait to get it in the air!
