Working on it but the canopy's are relatively large light parts shipping wise which means they are expensive to send airfreight, if they come over on a cost effective shipping service they will not get here until after the kits!

Or Tris,

You could mail Bill at arizonheli and get him to spray you up a pucker canopy.... Mine should be with me for the 23d July, just intime for the launch.

Anyone know how the canopy comes yet ? is it just a white fibre glass gel coat canopy or has it got the screen already painted like the new R90 canopy ?

Any idea yet ?

Check the gallery!

Having looked at a number of pictures of the synergy minus its canopy, It would seem as though all the test models ran lipo receiver battery packs... I've not ventured into the lipo world as such, any suggestions on what to get or do you think i'd be able to run the Sub C size 3300 Nicads I use in other models!?!?!

Lipo's

I know that's what Jason uses, along with a 6V regulator / step down for the tail.

I plan on using Duralites for mine with an Arizona Regulator, I don't think you'll have any trouble balancing it out, but without the heli in hand, its hard to say...

FWIW, there is plenty of room on the tray.

Mike...

Sestcourt :- If your going to run a full set of the latest digital servo's, along with a top notch gyro then i would really recommend going lipo.

I run the Fromeco Arizona regulator (from realraptors.co.uk !) which along with giving you 8+ flights per charge, it allows you to run the servo's at 5-6.5volts and the gyro on 5v (split voltage)

At the end of the day you can run nicad but it would be such a pisser if a £2K heli ploughed a nice big rut in the ground because of the battery's going flat

Hi Dokey

Canopy is just white gell coated, think almost every one is planning to paint them anyway.
Maybe later kits will come with a painted on screen but certainly not for a while.

Cheers

Hi Tris

Yes should be with decals, the final design will be decided on in the next day or two so don't ask what they look like yet as I don't know:-)

fromecos are definetely the way to go, i've got experience of both duralites and the fromecos have the edge, well, more of a gulf than edge and the deal at realraptors is superb.

i got my invoice saying i have one......ohhhh the release can't come quick enough now.

cheers
