Was looking at this heli.......

Do fuses come with the rivet work?
If not how long does it take and how is it done?

Sorry buddy but those heli's do not come with rivets. You need to do them yourself and it does take time.

I used the following:
RC 56 (Clear canopy glue)
28 gauge 1cc syringe (Used 5 doing this project)

After you get your fuse all primed up and ready to go start placing the rivets. I was spacing them about every 1/2 cm and could get about 600 on per hour. I spent about 5 hours total time putting those rivets on.

After your doen shoot a light coat of primer on and then your off to the paint booth.

I did have one problem how ever. As I taped I managed to pull some paint off the rivets. Not sure why that happened but I then switched to 3m masking tape rather than my thin-line blue and I didn't have nay more problems, except the paint lines were a bit fuzzy.

Any questions feel free to PM me.

Chris

You probably pulled some paint off the rivets because the primer was not sanded enough which you put on over them. I never prime again after the rivets, just go ahead and shoot the color and you will not have the same problem.
