| mReed,
Thanks, we've talked about the Hughes before.... I'm in the process of overhauling the mechanics. The extra weight of the body apparently stresses things a lot more than a P&B, like the clutches, servos, gyros, etc...
I hope to get her back airborne soon. I really had trouble with it during the last competition, it just wasn't flying good at all, I dropped out of the flying as my gut was telling me to... glad I did. Come to find out the clutch stack bearings were hosed and rattling and I had some tail rotor linkage issues and a sloppy elevator servo around center..
needless to say, I'm going through the entire heli and fortunately the body still looks great. Can't wait to get her flying again. It looks so good in the air.
A buddy of mine has loaned me a GY352 dual axis gyro HH for testing. After I get the mechs dialed in again I will be testing the gyro out again with the intention of using it on this heli.
