Hi All,

I am new to the Eolo family...I've not bought one yet because they are on back order for now...I want a Spirit M-8 so I will wait till they come in...I noticed that there is not much triffic on the eolo forums so problems must be minimal with this helicopter that is one of the reasons I am ordering the M-8. I do have a logo 10 but want something a little smaller that I can fly in my cellar...don't panic i've hovered my logo 10 in my cellar, but it is a little to big with to much washout to fly indoors...So that is why I am looking at the M-8 about the size of a voyager and I've flew my older voyager in my cellar without any problem. I am looking forward to the M-8 my voyager had problems with the rotor head and only fix was to replace it. To me why would you pay good money for and item that is not engineered correctly. I can hardly wait till the new shipment comes in and I can start building this bird...Looking forward to working with you guys and ladies....Thanks

Welcome!

Welcome to the Eolo forum, there are some great folks here with lots of experience and knowledge about Eolo products. Right now it's slow apparently due to good flying weather so not as much interest here on the board.
I've had my Eolo Pro for about 18 months and don't fly it as much as I should. I mostly fly in my backyard with a Corona 120 and several TREX sized helicopters.

Have a good one!

Hi Gary,,,

I looked at your gallery and you got some really great looking helicopters... I see you are in TN and I am looking at retirement next year and moving down to TN.. I think TN is one of the most overlooked places for retirement...Great tax base and low cost of living I am looking forward to a great retirement and playing with my helicopters all day...Thanks again Gary

Retirement

I hope to retire a second time in a few years, still have to pay off the house and get more in the nest egg. Tennessee is a great place to live, and a fairly low tax base. We still don't have a state income tax but they try almost every year to vote one in! If I had my pick of anywhere to live in the state it would probably be east Tennessee since it's slightly cooler there in the summer and a few more hills, nice scenery. If you ever get up near Nashville let me know, maybe we can fly together!

Hi and welcome to Eolo world. Great machines these, you're going to love it, especially in the open as opposed to the cellar. Good luck with the build, talk to us if you have question s and show us the finished article. Good luck

Hey guys, I'm finally an Eolo guy too. I just finished My Spirit LI, and I'm setting it up for its first flight. My friend's doing the paintjob on the canopy, and as soon as I have it back I'll take some pictures and post them. Hopefully I won't crash it first!

Second retirement WOW!!!

Gary, I am just working on my first retirement and should not have any house payments or bills. I only want to work for fun if I go to work at all,,, maybe a hobby store...or the guy who hands out carts at the Wal Mart. I am looking at the knoxville area not because of the mountains I live in the Pocono Mountains in PA, but because of the location, still have the four seasons, and the no state tax deal... I am sure I will get out to Nashville I am a country western fan. I will let you know when I get out that way, because the more people you have to fly with the better...Live to fly and fly to live...
