Does anyone know who sells a scale AS350 (A-Star) fuselage? I have seen lots of Twinstar fuses but have had zero luck with a simple single engine A-Star. Also is a Hawk IV a good choice for mechanics for this type of ship? The reason I am asking is I work as a Flight Paramedic and would eventually like to make a scale of our ship.

I'm presently building a Vario A-Star as an AS350. Petrol mechanics. The kit comes with both tops so you can choose if you want the single or twin engine version. I'm doing mine in the new CHP colors.....

Thanks

Thanks I'll take a look. CHP is now flying the AS350 B3. Still a single engine but a bit more HP than the BA or B2. Their new helos are very nice both interior and exterior. Thanks.

I've built two of the Vario A-stars

I can help if you want. take a look at the ones I've done. One had the 3 blade head. the other had a flybar head. I love the way this thing looks.

Thanks Doug. Those are really nice looking. I probably won't be in the market just yet, I just wanted to know if the fuselages were in fact available. I am just barely out of the hovering stage & would sure hate to crash one. However if I get one & take my time by the time I'm done I might have fun with it. BTW yours look really great, hope mine (when i do it ) turns out good. Thanks for your time.

Greg.

Our A-Star

Here is a pic of our helo that I eventually want to build a scale of. It is not a flying billboard, but I like the colors.

It's big

The vario is big. I'm building the vario BK 117 for a friend. I feel the BK is easer to build. Or, it could be I'm getting more experanced. I would love to build another A-star some day. The A-star only weighed 10 1/2 pounds. It climed like a rocket. It had a vertical better than my friends freya, with an 80 in it! I enjoyed flying it. I miss it. I had to get rid of it, ($$) issues.
