That's encouraging. I've been studying its construction, which is beautifully simple, much like the AVANT frames and would have been supprised if it was more than an R90 which has twice as many parts. The weight of the N9 also looks extremely favourable, at 4.7Kg is only 1Kg more than my 50s .
I'll have to keep my blood shot eyes open at 3DM - there maybe some good deals.

Yeah the machine looks lovelyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy. I want one, maybe next year. I like the very simple design and the low weight. From what I've heard and seen, it looks like JK and TB hit the nail on the head with this one - just have to wait for opinions from other people.

In Australia, you are paying $1400 (R90SE) - $1700-ish (Vibe, Stratus) (Aus dollars) for a 90 machine so 700 pound ($1720AUS) is about right. For Australia, spares will be the main issue. We tend to be the lesser bretheren due to low percentage of the world market.
It has some good design ideas built in. When I total the R90, I will get a Synergy.

From what I've heard, it will be under the $1K mark to compete with the R90 SE which is about $900 usd and Fury Extreme which is around there too.

July, per their website! Parts are going to be relatively inexpensive. Kit pricing will be very competitive as well.

I spent the weekend watching Todd Bennett fly the Synergy and I am very excited by the performance of this heli. With a headspeed of only 1650, this heli acted as if it was on steroids. Incredible speed both in forward and backwards flight.

Absolutely certain. We were all amazed. I got my tach out and sure enough, it was 1650.

The Synergy was doing stuff at 1650 that simply surprised the heck out of me.

We were flying in wind gusts up to 35 mph and I can tell you that the Synergy with 710 mm blades was more stable than my Cuatro with 800 mm blades.
