Is the canopy material on a stock Raptor canopy as thin as the one on a Gohbee Stinger? My Stinger lid has cracks in where is clips into the rear mounts. I am curious if the Raptor part is any better.

best bet is to get a fiberglass canopy.the plastic ones suck big time.

Thought about that, but I only keep the Stinger around as a "beater", I hate to waste the money on a glass lid. Just don't want it to fly into the blades

The Raptor canopy is quite a bit thicker than the plastic Gohbee unit. You never notice the Raptor canopy being too thin. The Gohbee canopy is hard to believe it doesn't crush just from the wind blowing on it in flight.

I've got the glass Ghobee canopy and it cracked the first time I put it on the hull.

i have 4 of the glass canopies and i havent had any problems until i hit the ground.
