To encourage and reward those hard working pilots, Synergy R/C announces the first in the world open-to-all award plan.

Valid until December 31st, 2008:

Any "registered" pilot competing in a "pre-approved" event with a Synergy N9 and "win" the competition entitles to a cash award offered by Synergy R/C. No strings attached.

"Prime" event wins carry an award of US$ 5,000 each

"Big" event wins carry an award of US$ 2,500 each

Awards are only valid where there is no conflict with your local laws. Synergy R/C reserves all rights to change in any manner and/or terminate this award plan at any time without notice.

Synergy R/C is not related to any of the competition organizers in any manner. Save and except under occasional cases, Synergy R/C may be a sponsor to some events and will not participate in the organizing and/or judging of such events unless expressly invited by the event organizers.

"Registered" means you have to tell us before you compete. Email us at support@synergyrc.com or your local distributor well ahead of time and tell us which event you intend to enter. Deadline for registering is 2 weeks before the event.
*

"Pre-approved" means a list of competitions that Synergy R/C will offer awards for. Synergy R/C reserves all rights to add to or delete from this list. You are most welcome to suggest additions to the list. Email support@synergyrc.com for possible additional events.
*

"Win" literally means win. You get first place in the highest competition class (if there are more than one class) in the event.
*

"Prime" events mean events in the category of 3D Master and Taiwan Cup. Must have international representation.
*

"Big" events means more localized and/or National events e.g XFC in the United States. Must be of National representation or above.

Does that include team members?

Most of these events are invitational only, and most of competitiors have sponsers already. HTC? It only invite 10 guys out of the entire heli communities to complete, what is average joe's chances on that. HTC's has higher pre qualifications for next event, one of them is to win 3D Master.

If open class can qualify for the reward, like expert class in 3D master or clubman event. We might have few chances.

Otherwise, it is just like money changing hands. I can even offer $100 on the top of that to non team member.

Well, I watched the Synergy fly today and I have to say that it is probably the most precise machine out there. It was running 1650 in idle 2, yes, 1650, and I was amazed how fast, responsive, and stable it was, especially in winds up to 35 mph.

Nice heli - well worth the wait!!

Hi Sharam,

I was also there watching the Synergy fly on Sat. (btw, nice to meet you, I was the one with the Ion). Watching that heli being put through it's paces in that wind was an incredible experience. The speed it carried in that wind, both upwind/downwind, forward and backward flight was almost unbelievable as was those sliding tic-tocs and chaos' off the deck...did I mention in that wind as well?

Equally impressive was the helis' stability, popping out of those flips into upright and inverted hovers and just watching the heli 'lock-in', even when screaming full tilt downwind and being slammed to a stop.,,not a wobble and certainly not much drifting taking place with minimum pilot intervention too. I think at one time I saw that Todd had his hands completely off the sticks.


Mid-July won't come fast enough!

All I want is a price!!!! Someone, anyone, how much is it gonna run? 900, 1000, 1100? Or are they gonna be in the tempest catagory at 1200 bucks?

Hi Roger, nice to meet you as well. Yep, the Synergy was pretty impressive. I am going to pick one up! Rick's has already listed it on their website. No price yet though.

Rumor has it the price will be sub $1,000 with carbon tail blades.
