Welcome to the Texas Renegade Rotorz

Guys we have a great thing going here and I would love to see it keep growing and being as great as I think it can be.

I hope we can keep this thread up and running to keep all of us informed as to where folks are flying and plan meetings and all the fun things this hobby has for us.

Sounds good to me, Taz. Question, why the change in thread?

In some ways I think the other thread had lost its way. The original reason behind the "central Texas heli" thread was to start bringing us together.

I think for the most part we have came together and it was time to make an association thread not an attempt to organize thread.

RCTaz, can you post a link back to the original for historical purposes?

My first post here. I'm Jess Johnson, and have been flying for about 6 months. I have a Logo 10 I've been flying out at the Target field with Phil. Hope to see more of ya around.

Thanks Mike. This thread is where it should have been in the first place. Good call. The BS in the other thread was getting quite thick. Although, I do come here for the drama.

Hey thanks for the link. I guess I should have been more clear, and said to update the first post of this thread with a link back to the original.

So whats Next for the Texas Renegade Rotorz? Well................

Guys I have been talking to a bunch of folks and have what some may call Huge Never going to Happen plans but I think they will work and can change the way Texas heli pilots look for information.

I would love for us (ANY HELI PILOT IN THE STATE OF TEXAS THAT WANTS TO BE INVOVLED) to meet up again and do a little flying and finish laying out the direction the Texas Renegade Rotorz are headed and let ya'll hear what I have been thinking about.

I know that folks are spread out and it may not be easy to pull off but I think it would be well worth the effort to attend. This is ONLY a suggestion but if we could plan to meet at the Houston funfly or just plan our own well located or open flying area would be fine also.

Let me know what ya'll think!

RCTaz,
Does Texas Renegade Rotorz have a Mission Statement? If not let me know I could probably come up with something for you

Man it sure was HOT yesterday but I really enjoyed flying and visiting with the folks out at GAMA. It was nice to get to see some folks I havent seen in monthes and do a little catching up but somethings never change and I remember now why I have not been flying out there and never renewed my membership!!
