I happened to check mine a while back and there was a piece missing from the blade grip where the bolt goes in. I put a new set on and reversed the thrust bearing and installed them like main grip bearings with the small out and now almost all the slop is gone. Been flying it for a couple months now with 2000 headspeed and all is well. Probably damaged the grip doing auto's,it touched the ground a few times but i checked them before i flew again.DOUG

Hi Isaac. I just place the tail grips. First the tail pitch link set does not fit very well into the blade grip ball links but I don't think it is a big issue and the screw set that came along with the tail grips were too short so I have to replace them for longer ones. I'll test the bird this weedend and let you know.

thanks

(Red Arrow) Yes, you are right, the screw set on the tail grips are too short

(Green Arrow) About the tail pitch link on the blade grip balls, they look like they are fitting the ball link on a angle and not straight. I really dont know if this is OK. Maybe they can get loose in the air

Maybe you need to take more pictures of this issue and place them here on RR to see what other members think.

Good luck,

Isaac

I think it is fine as pitch link set has a linear movement. However it is not as it should be.
