I have had this helicopter for nine months now,and only know of
two people that have this bird in the Chesapeake area, but I am
the only one flying it. It is my understanding this bird is doing
good in Europe and other place's but not in the United States.
It is a good bird, stable in flight, And it is CCPM. Does anybody
know what cause this bird not to takeoff in this country? There
are more picture in my gallery.
Enjoy the hobby.

Hi
I had one of those about three years ago, i bought it new from ely shop in italy.

luckily i never crashed it, but i could not get spares here in the uk at that time, five or six days from italy.

Even though i only had a 60 size engine it flew very well, i think that some of the parts were compatable with jr but part numbers never cross referenced.

Eventually i sold it while it was still in one piece (a good heli though)

Something that I really dont like is that eaven that the DNHP has a lot of pictures on there web page you cant find detailed info of each model.

They have there a lot of pictures but you dont know to what models they belong!

That web page is a KAOS!!!!

They need to make a better web page (friendly to navigate)
They need to put each model and all the info and images of that model
In some cases the images are very small and in other you can make the image bigguer.
The photo manual is a little complicated...........Its look like it use a lot of parts but do not guide you step by step.
There is not info on the 30/50 size. I will say that this model can be very popular in USA but again no info

ok, AS TO ANYBODY LOOKING AT GREAT LAKES RC they are not out of business, the owner is just clearing out eveything in stock, and they will be moving down south shortly, and they will reopen at that time. They should be doing online orders right now.

I have two DNHP SM4 Helicopters that I got from MC2International in VA. They are excellent helicopters but didn't do well here because of poor distribution. I would not say that they are JR Knockoffs as others say. I think it's actually the opposite. A lot of there parts are compatible with JR Machines. If you were to buy a JR machine with all those parts it would cost a mint in the US. Keep flying those machines. Ely Shop has plenty of spares. Helicopters are regional in terms of availability. If you go to the foreign websites you will see way more machines than are readily available here. Try finding a Venture 90 in the US? Horizon won't bring them in because they feel that it would hurt Vibe 90 sales etc. etc.. Try finding a Sitar or a Tornado? Good luck.

Being that you brought your DNHP'S from MC2 you must know
Eulace. Guess what, that is where I got my SR-3! I live
about 1/4 mile from has shop. I think you are right on target.
Who is this Ely shop? Do you have a phone number or wedsight?
It is my plan to stock-up on parts and fly this bird till
I die. I think it is a damm good bird. Some say it is to heavy
but I do not agree. Because it is all metal it is slightly heavyer
the my raptor se. Where else can you get a bird that does not
need any upgrades? For some reason people do not see that. Well
nice talking to you, if you can tell me about this Ely shop that
would be cool.
Enjoy the hobby.

DNHP

Hello z11355.Please don't misquote me. I understand that Vibe sales are smoking but you should also know that the DNHP line was in production in Korea well before the Vibe was even a thought. In that reguard; try getting a Venture 90 in the states from Horizon and see what they tell you or for that matter a Venture 60. The Airskippers have been out for some time before Horizon started to bring them in also. Are you aware that there were quite a few items that were on a DNHP; (upgrade) parts for that matter that were compatible with JR Helicopters. DNHP as i've been told in the past were manufacturing parts for JR. Consider buying an Ergo at the time DNHP was making a run in the states and you would see why a DNHP would be a better choice.

Something to think about.
Peace;
