New & Emerging R/C Helicopters > Stinger 50 Clutch broke

Background:

Been flying my stinger now with no problems for about 2 months. Flew it Wednesday all went well. Landed it, fueled it back up and restarted. Noticed that the clutch was dragging during idle. I went ahead and flew it as it was. Landed took the motor out. One side of the clutch (where the cut is) is actually "sprung" outward a little more. I took my finger and I can push it back in without much effort.

Questions:

1. Does this happen to heli clutches much?
2. Since that edge of the clutch can only go out so far (until it hits the clutch lining) can I still fly until I get another one? I doubt it will break. Just a little more drag on the clutch than normal.

Thanks,

Gary
