for future reference neither this phrase, nor the 'C' word (synonymous and rhyming with CASH) should never be uttered at the flying field, on this forum or in the presence of another pilot or model 
as far as a meter, nothing beats the good ol timer. that's all i use.

All I could do was cut the motor & watch him fall.
Amazingly enough all that broke was the head stiffner & a landing gear strut. Once I get the parts it will be flying again. Does anybody have any recomendations for a battery meter? Something that can be seen easily. I was kind of heartbroken about the crash, but it was expected. I knew coming into this hobby I was going to crash sometime. Altogether though, it was a great learning experience.
