From a Raptor flyer.....Typical. Have you looked at your raptor recently...last time I looked they weren't the prettiest heli out there. I think it looks COOL.

Come on Glen - you know you are really a closet Raptor lover, and getting a Synergy will be just the first step along the way to "coming out" a getting getting a Raptor

Assumption that I like how my Raptor looks - Typical. I fly what I fly. The great thing is that everybody wants a Synergy. Yet nobody here has touched one. A heli is only as good as it's pilot, remember that.

Besides, who the HELL wants a "pretty" heli?

no kidding?
I thought the nicer looking and more blinged up the better they flew and it had nothing at all to do with skill?
Duh.

Yes I have touched one as well. Not flown it but looked it over throughly and asked lots of questions. I like it.

I think if they can make it cheaper than the AVANT without the hassle of buying two kits and extra bits and pieces. Mixing and matching parts... its gonna be a killer. IMHO the Synergy and AVANT represent the new direction that EVERY heli will follow. Higher CG, CCPM, everything else broken down to its lowest common denominator (and lightest weight). I can't wait till they're available. I've been holding off on takeing the step to a .90. Since seeing JK fly one at the East Coast Extreme fun-fly I have wanted one.

Hi,

While I think the Synergy will be an awesome machine, it is designed and marketed, from what I understand, to be both flexible, in flying styles and affordable. The Avant, on the other hand, appears to be ultra high quality and slightly less versatile, more of an ultra 3d machine than the Synergy. In this regard, I think few machines can beat an Avant. Please keep in mind, this is a pretty superficial judgment, based on watching vids, comparing designs and knowing a little about the design philosophy of each.

The proof will be in the pudding and hopefully some of us will be lucky enough to sample, in short order. It's really best to keep an open mind, until that time.

The Synergy would be cheaper than the Avant in anyway you want to look at it. For a start the Avant is not a complete kit you have to spend over $1000 or £800-900 in the Uk to have a complete kit, and I heard the Synergy would be about £600.

Looks like they got one heck of a distributors list going.

Looks like the dates are a little off....

Anyone hear the going rate for one in the states? Looking to get back into it and just am torn between another MA or the Synergy. Call it my coming home from Iraq present. What ever it takes to get the wife to allow it right?

In God we trust, everyone else we monitor.
