I was told to use 2 JR 8311 for the cyclic controls and 1 JR 8611 for the collective and 1 JR 811 for the throttle. Also the Futaba 401 Gyro and 9254 servo will work fine for the tail.

After looking into the specs on this servo combo, I have decided to follow this advise on my new EB.

Servos

That is the combination I use on all my Bergens other than the turbine. On it I use 8611 a's on all controls and a 601 with 9251 on the tail.

I'm running 2x 9252 for cyclic, 9151 on collective, and a GY401/9254 on the tail. You can use just about any servo on the throttle that you like. If you're going to use a RevLock, a digital will hold position better than an analog, but you don't have to break the bank on a high-dollar servo. The 3151 @ $35 is perfect for this.

I also use JR equipment an my transmitter is also a JR 9303.
Do you had any trouble using Futaba's gyro and servo?
Can you control gyro gain from the transmitter if using a Futaba gyro?

I typically plug the gyro gain wire (the yellow one) into channel 5 (the gear channel).

To adjust the gain, go into the ATV's, on the gear channel and set the travel to 80% on the top, toggle the gear switch on the transmitter, then set the travel to 70% on the bottom.

Now setup your tail system like this,
