does the evo kit come with two rod ends and an extra ball/screw/nut? ... it was in the box and there is no step number on it ... i followed all the instructions and it seems like its an extra ... just wondering if its supposed to be like that

EVO what? 30, 50 or 90? 50 comes standard push-pull. 30 is a 'one pushrod' machine. Haven't seen the 90, but gotta assume it's push-pull too.

It's been a while since I built my Evo 50 but in my case, no missing parts, no extras.
I know I know... (edit.. about the nuts and bolts anyways)I was very perplexed with the same issue.... until I found them in the picture for the stock Hirobo muffler. Two Bolts, one nylock nut.
I was paranoid about those damned nuts and bolts as well. You can take a sigh of relief. I know I did. lol
Couldn't tell you about the rod ends.. Mine had no spares.
well i went over every step in the manual that involves rod ends again and everything is installed correctly ... i was worried because this is the first heli i'm putting together with the push pull linkage so i thought i must have messed something up ... im going to triple check it before i fly this weekend
its still bugging me though ... i've never seen even an extra nut in a heli kit before

All extra parts go in the carburetor
Been around the world and found that only stupid people are breeding
i should have looked at what i didnt do instead of what i did do ... the rod ends and ball are for the rudder control ... the only thing i havent done yet ... thanks for entertaining my question

Well thanks a lot for wasting our time.
Just kidding.
By the way. You're going to love your Evo. I'm in the process of rebuilding mine after a crash I had late last season. I can't wait to get out to fly it.

If you're still worried, have one of the Evo flyers at your club check it over before you fire it up! I had a dabble on an Evo 50 only a couple of weeks ago. As a hardened MA flyer, I absolutley loved it! Was totally stock with a Hyper 50 and MP. Very precise, powerful and smooth machine, you will really progress with it!!
Work sucks!!

thats a good idea but i dont fly with a club ... there arent any heli clubs within an hour of my house ... so the first time i fire it up will probably be in my front yard by myself to run a tank or two too brake in the engine
