| Rcer22 - I really wouldn't worry about the tail all that much. In all honesty the new SUS tail is a large improvement over the stock setup. That would be the first thing I would change. I haven't had any issues with the stock bearing setup. I have the thrust bearings, but they're not installed as I was trying to find some binding after a crash and just never got around to putting them back in...they weren't the problem FYI The bearings I used where PV0047. I think I paid around $15 or $20 for the set. So they were a little pricey for 2 bearings! The other ones posted at $10 a pair look a little nicer and are probably a better deal...
However, it's not a "must have" upgrade. I know tons of people with hundreds and even thousands of flights on the same set of stock tail bearings with no failures.
Also, the 30-90 all use the same tail components with the exception of how they're driven. All use the same pitch slider, fork, hub, bearings, and grips. I believe the tail cases and are different since 60/90 are shaft and the 30/50 are belt driven...also the output shaft is probably different too...but I don't know for sure, the diameter is the same though.
