What about the electric mod?

Wonder if you could do the electric conversion from www.tppacks.com

Man, If I could build this Jetranger setup electric, I would be in heaven!!

I have a pretty decent build walkthough of a Raptor 30 in a TwinStar fuse on my website. I show the pitch arm mod and how to make a heat sheild for your muffler.

The pitcharm will hit the top of the fuse on the funkey twinstar.

I have been considering conversion of my RaptorTwinstar to electric but now that I have found this thread from kbheli, I am very interested in building a whole new project.

Raptor 30 V2 Scale Jet Ranger

Hi all,
How in the world do you install the tailboom through the fuse?
If i slide the tailboom through the rear tail opening of the fuse im not able to reach in there to wrap the belt around the main gear?
If i slide the boom in from the front towars the back that aint working either?..I tried both ways and seems impossible.
Does anybody have pics installing the boom?
Thanks.

Can you install the boom in the mechanics first then slide into the fuse? You might have to drill a small hole to be able to tighten the belt in the fuse on the side.I had to on my 500D.The holes were just big enough to get my hex tool through. You really dont even notice it.

It only takes two things to fly -- airspeed and money

nope,it will not fit in that way without removing the tailcase assembly(if i do that i will never be able to mount the tailcase at the rear because there is just no room.
the rappy boom has to be slid in the fuse from the rear fuse tail.
