Scale Model RC Helicopters > Century or New TT scale

This winter I am thinking about building a scale 60 size Raptor heli. Do you think the new TT scale bodies will be out in time to build as a winter project or should I get a Century fuse instead? Is there anyone at ace that could answer this question for me? Aren't they selling them already overseas? This will be my first scale project. Does the Hughes 500D fit better than a Ranger body? I think a 60 size heli would be best because of the amount of room to play with. Thanks

I would say get the Century body. It normally takes some time for TT to release stuff in the US. Lately they have been behind on their target dates with stuff, we'll see how quickly the Raptor V2's hit the market.

I don't think TT is releasing a Hughes 500.

Vario and Century make a 500. The Vario is a better kit, it is gelcoated and is made for the doors,e tc. to open. The Century is a lot more work but decent. I have a Century H500E with a Raptor 60 inside it.
