yeah, seems like Grant was waaaaay off

I was out of flying for about a year, and attending the snohomish FF this weekend, there was nothing but al600 and align 50 size nitros. Almost no raptors, no hirobos, no MA. Weird how the ions, stratuses, urys, xspecs, just all disappeared.

Wow I saw this thread, and was like what?? The 600 is dominating in the n version, and the e version is still a 'lunatic fringe' at all the fun fly's. Just like all the other 50 sized electrics.

I remember the same remarks made on Raptors when they first came out. I still remember when I brought my first Raptor 30 to the field full of Kalts and Hirobos. They laughed at the ugly canopy and thought it would never break into the market. "they should stick with toy planes, etc"

I am glad Align has succeeded. Competition is good for all of us.

He said he was getting a lepton in the first post. Doesn't the main shaft on a lepton cost like $23 ?

Still wont touch an Align product. Dont care if anyone on the earth has one and says there great. I have owned many and will not again.

Yes. I did but the Lepton. Much more quality of a machine that Align will ever hope to make. Flies great and is tons of fun. Perfect eletric machine between a 450 and 50 sized.
