Honey bee 2 are aload of crap and a real handfull to fly , if you managed to fly that little piece of plactic then you will be able to fly the raptor with your eyes shut , but remember theres no second chance with the raptor if the blades clip some thing its all over

The difference in flying will be like the difference between driving a riding lawn mower and a Lexus.

Another big difference is this machine can hurt you or others very badly or worse! This is not a toy. I fly a Blade CP too around and over my house because it's not potentially lethal if it hits something or someone. If the HoneyBee is like the Blade CP it's not a piece of crap at all. It has it's strengths too and can fly well. A 50 on the other hand is swinging 2 large samurai blades at over 1600 rpms and carry alot of inertia. Be careful.
But all that aside I have a 30 and 50 Raptors and love them. You will too. Get someone to set it up for you correctly first.

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly better than I can pilot them

Ive had a Honey bee 2 and in my opinion you get what you pay for and it was very cheap , so I would say its cheap toy

Don't know firsthand about the HoneyBee but the Blade CP will do loops ,fly inverted hover inverted, stall turns ,rolls etc and is not a handfull to fly at all if setup well. I hear the Blade and the HoneyBee are simular, sorry you had problems.

honeybee cp2

Just my 2 pence worth... i started with the honeybee, then a t-rex, now also have a rappy 30. the nitro heli is a bit intimidating at first wot with all the smoke n noise , but it's in a different league to the small electric stuff, my flying has improved 10 fold in the last 2 months. not 3d yet lol, but nose in, fig 8's etc. i do wish i'd started with a raptor and you defo wont regret it. iv just had my 1st major crash with raptor (pilot error!!)and some parts are cheaper to replace than t-rex.

Well if I had all my heli's at the field, 2 electrics and 2 raptors ,I'd be flying my Raptors the whole time!
I agree with you pep999, flying a Nitro is great.
