doing a little preventative maintenance. I know you don't want any excess grease in the bearings in the clutch bell, but should you lube them some how if they appear dried out? If so, how. Also, should grease be pressed into the bearing block above the clutch? Or, is there too much of a chance of the grease finding its way onto the clutch shoes?

No oil in the clutch bearing as it will leak out and contaminate the clutch liner

I knew that, but do you mean you shouldn't attempt to lube it with anything?

Anything you lube it with will eventualy seep down into the clutch itself

What about a dry film grafite lubricant ?

That bearing is only rotating when the clutch is disengaged (engine at an idle and blades stationary). It really doesn't matter if it runs dry. I NEVER grease mine.
