Here's the scoop.
James supposedly sent the receiver, but it never showed-up. He has refunded my money and told me via e-mail that his Father lost his 7-week battle with cancer.
So, I've got my money back and his Wife (I think) whom I spoke with just moments ago said to just keep the receiver if it ever does show-up.
Here's where I come-out:
I never intended to flame James here. I was just hoping that nothing bad had happened. Obviously something bad DID happen and I offered my condolences to his wife.
I know that some of you may think it is fishy based on one other bad situation that he was involved with, but in my book, I think James is still a good guy who has had some bad luck.
I had a friend who went through a similar situation last year with a sale he was involved with and he had a death in the family also. When something of this significance happens, everything else tends to get put on hold.
James, if you read this, I wanted to say that I am very sorry for your loss. It would have been nice to hear from you personally a little sooner, BUT I totally understand why I didn't and I will not hold it against you at all.
Thanks to all who chimed-in here.
Your support is much appreciated
