I searched this and did not get an exact match. I built an Evo 90 and it flies great upright. When it's in an inverted hover and I punch it, the heli drops the nose and has a slight right roll. Is it head phasing, balance, or something else? The heli balances with a 1/2 tank of fuel and is extremely stable upright. Thanks in advance.

Have you tried in different wind directions?
And if you have, does it always roll in the same direction or does it differ depending on the wind?

No I haven't. It was tail into the wind when I pushed it up and the tail went up into the wind. Never thought of that. I can't comment on the slight rolling. So, blowing from the north and tail pointing north. Would that explain it?

My Evo 50 does the same thing. It balances perfectly at half-tank, and stays level beautifully in upright or inverted hovers and in all upright flight, including fast punch-ups when upright.

However, any time I give it lots of negative pitch inverted the tail comes up and it takes a slight roll. I've tried adjusting the phasing in both directions, but it doesn't seem to have any effect. The only thing that seemed to work was trying to mix it out in the TX, but that introduces additional problems on fast descents.

Has anybody figured this one out? As first I thought it was the push-pull setup. I initially had the balls on the control wheels 180 degrees apart instead of the proper locations. However, I re-drilled the control wheels for the correct locations and the model still won't climb level when inverted. It's fine up to about -6 degrees, but any more and I get the effect.

BTW, I saw it with a full tank and almost empty. I've seen it my Evo 50 also, but not as dramatic. I think the smaller blades have an effect.
