Hi all, Hard time deciding between the Cobra or a Bell 212 for Top Gun. Think I'm leaning towards the 212 -- Has anyone got a few shots of the Dark Green Marine version (Presidential Helo) I think I read somewere that this was a backup helo to the stallion. Any help would be nice. tried Helispot but, no help.

I don't know anything about finding specific pics like you want but I have had great luck emailing Bell helis directly and having them send me pics of specific helis I've asked for.

Seriously

Dr. Tim,

I was serious, here is a quote from that page

"They were fitted with both AFCS and a stab bar. The interior had wall to wall carpeting, buckets seats and a wet bar. Quite literally the limo of Hueys. "

Now you need to get some leather and a mini Keg and some small beer mugs!!! I would check your local Toys-R-Us and go down the Barbie Isle, but please make sure you don't tell anyone your a RC Helicopter modeler, you might ruin our image!!!! I would send my wife anyway!

Leaning toward the Vario Fuse. With a little mods I can get what I want.

Dr Tim,
I used to fly White Top Huey's for the Army in DC. If you can believe it, below is the best pic I could find of our Hueys.
Our ****pit was pretty much the same as a field Huey. Some upgraded Avionics and a rotor break but nothing in the way of bells and whistles. I think the blakchaws flown there have alot of the VIP bells and whistles.
Don't know if this will help, but here is the Unit Web site is http://www.mdw.army.mil/12thavnbn/corepage.htm
